High Modulus is completely different from High Viscosity because the High Modulus specification is the physical property of the material after it has cured (stiff) where the High Viscosity specification is the physical property of the material in the liquid state (thick). In the circumstance where this material is required for rigidity, it is very important, as the driving characteristics of the vehicle could be altered by not using a High Modulus urethane.
PP303HL has a new Aggressive Adhesion Formula
and has proven itself to aggressively bond to all automotive glass surfaces and frits without needing a glass primer. Long term exposure testing confirms that the new formula stands up to the harshest environmental conditions. The POWR 300 Series
is also formulated without isocyanates. As a result, this new formulation produces a by-product of H²O in the curing process, accelerating the curing process and providing faster safe drive times.

We are also introducing additional support products for this new series of automotive Urethanes, including CRL POWR 300 Series Urethane EPDM/PVC Primer/UV Blocker PP3UV
for bonding to encapsulated parts and moldings or adding a black-out band to glass without a frit to protect the bond line from ultraviolet light. CRL POWR 300 Series Urethane Pinchweld Primer PP3MP
is for application prior to bonding to bare metal scratches and rust repaired or repainted pinchwelds. You should always use PWR22 CRL Automotive Glass Cleaner
to clean the glass and the bonding area of the glass to remove any contamination. By using these products, the strongest possible bond will be attained. Complete detailed instructions are printed on every cartridge and found on the Spec Data.
